FASTING is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by all Catholics who are 18 years of age but not yet 59. Those who are bound by this may take only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted if necessary to maintain strength according to one's needs, but eating solid foods between meals is not permitted.

All Catholics are urged to make Lent a time of increased prayer and works of charity, each according to their abilities.

Sweethearts' Mass

Saturday, February 17
at the 5:30 pm Mass

The purpose of this celebration is twofold: First, we pay tribute to couples who have exemplified the faithful living of their marriage sacrament and who are now celebrating a major wedding anniversary (10, 15, 20, 25 years and so on...).  Second, we ask God's blessing on our engaged couples that they may be strengthened in the Christ-like love that will lead them to their wedding day and sustain them for a long, happy and holy marriage.

A reception in your honor will follow in the Community Room.

Call the Rectory at 203-227-7245 before February 11 to register
